Passion, Experience, and Relationships

Our primary focus is to help kids do well in the real world. We have created an in-house, “sensory gym” experience, where kids can work alongside other kids to learn, make connections, and grow. This comfortable atmosphere provides a familiar model that kids can easily grasp, and a welcoming place where they can succeed.

We collaborate with families to craft treatment plans for each child, which begin by identifying specific goals and focus areas. Work is primarily executed in our own sensory clinic, but we can also accommodate locations deemed best for the child, including home and schools.

We help kids of all ages and abilities learn to be independently successful in their daily activities. Our efforts also incorporate the education and connections necessary to strengthen each child’s core network, including parents, teachers, peers, and more.

Our in-house team of occupational therapy and speech therapy experts can address a wide variety of needs. We’re also able to tap into an extensive network of respected child resources, specialists, and services in the Bay Area.

Our motto is “If a kid doesn’t want to come, then we aren’t doing our job.” In short, Little Hands’ kids look forward to their time with us! All of our work is play-based and taps into the occupations (interests) of the child, which keeps them engaged and helps them feel empowered and in control. This translates into improved confidence and faster progress.
